Before your first visit

First-appointment questions

How do I book my first appointment?

Call RaDona directly at (435) 580-9160 to book. Tell us what service you're booking and roughly what you have in mind, and we'll find a time that works.

What should I bring or prepare?

Bring inspiration photos if you have a specific look in mind — pictures communicate so much better than words for hair. Otherwise, just come in with clean, dry hair (no need to wash beforehand, but no heavy product either). For color appointments, mention any hair processing you've done in the last six months when you book.

How long will the appointment take?

Cuts run 30–60 minutes depending on length and complexity. Color appointments are 90 minutes to 3 hours depending on the service. Transformation appointments (cut + color + style) can run 3–4 hours. We'll give you an accurate time estimate when you book.

Do you do walk-ins?

The salon is by appointment only — RaDona books one client at a time so every appointment gets her full attention. Same-day appointments are sometimes available if there's a gap in the schedule; call or text (435) 580-9160 to ask.

What if I'm nervous about a big change?

That's what consultations are for. You can book a free 15-minute consultation any time — come in, sit in the chair, talk about what you're considering, and leave without changing a thing if you're not ready. There's zero pressure. A lot of my biggest transformations happened weeks or months after the first consultation conversation.

Will my appointment be filmed for YouTube?

Only with your full permission. I do film some appointments for the channel — but I always ask first, and never film anyone who doesn't want to be on camera. The vast majority of appointments are completely private. If you'd like to be filmed, mention it when you book and we'll set it up.

Do you take new clients of all ages?

Yes — everyone from toddlers having their first haircut to women in their 80s coming for their regular trim. Many of my long-term clients have been with me for 15+ years; many newer clients found me through YouTube and drove in for their first appointment. The chair is open to all of you.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, and Venmo are accepted in the salon. Additional payment options are available on the website. Tips are appreciated but not expected.
