What I cut, and why people drive here for it
My salon is in Nephi, but clients drive from Provo, Spanish Fork, Payson, Delta, and as far as Salt Lake — because a haircut is one of the few things where experience genuinely shows. Twenty-five years behind the chair means I've seen what works on every hair type, every age, every face shape, and I've made all the mistakes early enough that they don't happen on your appointment.
The hardest haircut isn't the most complicated one. The hardest is the cut you have to live with for the next eight weeks. My consultations always start with three questions: what does your morning look like, what does your hair actually do, and what have you tried that didn't work. The answers determine the cut. Specialties in my chair: bobs (every variation), pixies (classic to asymmetric), kids' cuts (yes, including the first one), and men's haircuts.

Final price depends on hair length, density, and what the cut needs to do. The free consultation gives you an exact quote before any scissors come out — no surprises at checkout.
Bobs, pixies, lobs, layered cuts. Includes wash, cut, blow-dry-style and home-care advice.
Clipper cuts, scissor cuts, fades, classic styles. Includes neck trim and styling guidance.
Ages 2 through 12. Includes patience, snacks if needed, and parent-friendly tips for between visits.
Long-to-short transitions (long-to-bob, long-to-pixie). Includes a full consultation and follow-up styling.
Cash, card, or Venmo accepted. Quoted prices firm at the consultation — never higher at checkout.

What happens at your appointment
Every new client starts with a free consultation built into the appointment. This is the single biggest difference between a salon experience that works and one that doesn't — the cut decisions made before the scissors come out matter more than the cut itself.

Free consultation (10 minutes)
Sit in the chair fully dressed and ready. We'll talk about what you wear daily, what you've tried before, what didn't work, and what your mornings actually look like. The cut decision happens here.

Face shape and hair type assessment
I'll check your face shape, hair density, growth pattern, and how your hair currently behaves. This determines the cut technique — different from what your old stylist may have used.

The cut (35-50 minutes for most styles)
Wash, cut, dry, finish. I cut everything by section, with a deliberate technique chosen for your hair type. Curly hair is cut dry, never wet.

Style and home-routine teaching
Before you leave, I'll show you exactly how to style the cut yourself with three products or fewer. No styling routine should take more than five minutes at home.

Re-booking guidance
I'll tell you exactly when to come back — usually six to eight weeks for most cuts, four to six for pixies and bobs with bangs. You'll never feel rushed to re-book sooner than the cut needs.

Most appointments are booked one to two weeks in advance; transformation cuts and weekend slots fill faster. New clients always start with a free consultation included in the first appointment.
A consultation is a 10-minute conversation before the cut — fully clothed, in the chair, no scissors involved. We talk through your hair type, face shape, lifestyle, and what's worked or failed before. Every new client gets one built into the first appointment, and it's free. You can also book a stand-alone consultation if you want to discuss options before committing to an appointment date.
Most haircut appointments run 45 to 75 minutes including the consultation. Quick maintenance trims take 30 minutes. Transformation cuts (long-to-bob, long-to-pixie) take 90 minutes including the styling lesson at the end. Kids' cuts take 20 to 30 minutes depending on age and how cooperative they're feeling.
Yes. I've cut hair for kids from 18 months through teens for 25 years. Kids' haircuts start at $25 and include patience, snacks if needed, and home-care tips for between visits. For very young children (under 3), morning appointments work best — fresh, rested children are dramatically easier than tired afternoon ones.
That's exactly what the consultation is for — most clients arrive unsure. I'll ask about your face shape, hair type, lifestyle, and what you've tried before, then suggest two or three options. You'll see exactly what each one will look like before any scissors come out. The cut decision is always yours.

My regular clients drive from Provo (45 minutes), Spanish Fork (35 minutes), Payson (25 minutes), Delta (1 hour), and Salt Lake City (90 minutes). Some come from further. The salon is in Nephi, just off I-15, with easy parking.
Cash, all major credit and debit cards, and Venmo. Tipping is appreciated but never expected. Quoted prices at the consultation are firm — you'll never see a higher number at checkout than what was discussed before the cut.
